December 24
Christmas Eve Torch Light Parade and En Fuego
A long standing holiday tradition at Copper, the torchlight parade will be led by Santa and his elves as The Village at Copper sparkles with holiday cheer. Toast s'mores and warm fingers over bonfires, as fireworks light the sky. Sponsored by Berentzen, Sprint and Nature Valley.

New Years Eve Celebration
– Country Style! Adrenaline pumping entertainment, all your friends, a little fresh snow and a fireworks finale equals a New Year’s Eve Celebration not to be forgotten. Copper is the place you want to ring in 2010! You may even get a kiss at midnight. This year we're featuring Country Western Dance lessons, taught by Roger and Teresa Moen (7:30pm-12:30am), Kid's Corral with movies, games and crafts (until 10:00pm), A gourmet buffet menu (served from 6:30pm-8pm) and Fireworks (9:00pm)! Rocky Mountain Series
The Rocky Mountain Series encompasses all disciplines of snowboarding including superpipe, slopestyle, boardercross and alpine events. Venues include the Catalyst Terrain Park, the Main Vein Superpipe, Vein Glory BX Course and Bittersweet for the Alpine Venues The USASA Rocky Mountain Series, the largest and longest running amateur snowboard series in North America, celebrates 23 years of amateur competition. Copper is proud to host the 2010 USASA Nationals in April. Rocky Mountain Series events take place throughout the season, online registration and details at www.rockymountainseries.com Freeride events are open to snowboarders and skiers.

You can call it Valentine's Eve or Chinese New Year, but we call it En Fuego! An ice skating show, bonfires and West Lake fireworks make for an epic Saturday night. Colorado Special Olympics Winter Games
The Winter Games mark the culmination of the winter sports season for the 550 athletes who annually participate in Alpine Skiing, Cross Country skiing, Figure Skating, Snowshoeing and Snowboarding. This season marks the 21st consecutive year Copper Mountain will host the event. Copper is proud to be the official winter training site for all Colorado-based winter Special Olympics athletes as well as the official host resort for the Winter Games through 2010.

April 03-10
USASA Nationals Copper
has been named the host venue for the largest snowboarding and free ski event on earth - the 2010 and 2011 USASA Nationals. Each year, the top regional finishers are invited to attend the USASA National Championships to compete against some of the best male and female athletes from around the country in slopestyle, superpipe, boardercross, slalom and giant slalom in their quest to become National Champions.

Easter Sunday
– Colorado’s Largest Easter Egg Hunt 50,000 Easter Eggs will fill the Village and Mountain this Easter Sunday at Copper Mountain. There will an all ages hunt on the mountain and two kids hunts in the village. Plus there will be special “Copper Eggs” in each of the hunts that can be redeemed for great prizes!

April 10-11
Sunsation
Deep snow, bright sun and free live music! Copper will be sizzling when Sunsation, Copper's end-of-season bash, returns for its eighth year! Come and enjoy bright spring sunshine, loads of snow and free live music from some amazing national acts. You won’t want to miss out on 2,450 vast acres of steep, deep terrain, and a slope side place to rest your head. Don’t forget the sunscreen! Past Sunsation performances include Michael Franti & Spearhead, Galactic, Dark Star Orchestra, Keller Williams, De La Soul, John Popper Project, North Mississippi Allstars, Karl Denson’s Tiny Universe, Blue Oyster Cult, Quiet Riot, Rusted Root and many more.

April 16-18
Red Bull 1976 Games
This event is played off the 1976 Winter Games "known as the 1976 Games" that were awarded to Colorado after their bid on hosting it. Voters in Colorado later voted against hosting the games, even though the state fought hard to be a host, so the games never took place. Red Bull 1976 Games brings the games back to Colorado and finally "give the year 1976 its day". Competitions include Snowbladecross & Old School Air. Plus, an award for most outrageous costume and team mojo! Last year the event debuted at Copper, look for bigger and better events for 2010.
