Kevin is cofounder and partner of Brinkman Partners. His professional background includes experience in civil engineering, construction management, real estate brokerage, and development. Kevin's diverse knowledge provides the expertise to lead the company through the full cycle of investment activities including: acquisition and development, redevelopment, tenant/user management, and property exit and exchange. His credentials include a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Colorado in Boulder, a master's degree in Real Estate Finance from the University of Denver, and designation as a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). His daily efforts are directed towards quality, consistency, and ensuring the highest level of service delivery to the Company's clients and partners.

Paul is cofounder and partner of Brinkman Partners. His past experience as a Project Manager, Vice President of Healthcare, and Chief Operating Officer for one of Northern Colorado's largest design/build and development companies, has given him the experience to lead Brinkman Partners into a new generation of real estate services. He is a graduate of the University of Colorado with a degree in Civil and Structural Engineering. After completing his degree, he spent two years in Dallas working as a Structural Engineer and was enrolled in the College of Business at Southern Methodist University where he successfully attained his certificate of finance. Paul is responsible for the leadership and operational success of the company, including providing an environment that supports employee fulfillment and positive morale, delivering high quality and safe projects to clients, creating and managing existing collaborative relationships with clients and subcontractors, developing and maintaining effective operational processes and procedures to ultimately ensure the overall success of projects and of the company.

Jim serves as the President and Operations Manager for Construction. With his 18 years of construction experience, he brings the highest level of knowledge to clients. He spent seven years working for a national design-build development and construction company in Phoenix where he managed development and construction projects from initial design concepts through construction completion. In this time, he developed a verifiable track record for successfully completing multi-million dollar projects through coordination of trades, developing partnerships, and building lasting relationships with project teams. His extensive industry involvement has made him well versed in contract negotiations, construction estimating, impeding design problems, code regulations, and overall management from the conceptual design phase through project closeout.  Jim graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management.  He is responsible for the overall leadership and direction of activities with the objective of providing the highest level of professional service. He also coordinated preconstruction planning and design phases and manages development and construction activities.

Grace has been in the construction industry for over 12 years. In this time, she has gained extensive experience in all areas of the construction process. Her knowledge of the ins and outs of the industry are a direct benefit to our clients and staff. She has a high-level of insight on the intricacies that are associated with organizational operations and how to focus on each to be most effective and efficient. Grace is responsible for implementing office policies and procedures, overseeing day-to-day office operations, and the overall office environment. She also assists with staff development and training and serves as a main point of contact for internal and external company communication.

April has over 12 years of experience in construction bookkeeping. She has worked for some of the premier companies in the industry and has managed complex accounting and tax systems. Her in-depth background ensures that she is well versed in construction software, customer service, and payment management.  At Brinkman, April is responsible for accounts payable, managing subcontractor/supplier invoicing, statement reconciliation, project invoicing, and receivables.

John is a LEED AP BD+C Preconstruction Manager with over 25 years of industry experience.  He has been involved with over $285M worth of projects during his career, ranging in size from a $370,000 tenant finish to a $95M convention center.  John has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is responsible for coordinating all of the preconstruction planning and the management and oversight of all aspects of the Estimating Department. His responsibilities include budgeting, project negotiations, production pricing, and maintaining and updating cost history databases and updating subcontractor databases.

Kate is Brinkman Partners' Marketing Manager.   She has over 8 years of experience in corporate communications, advertising, and integrated marketing.  Through her previous role with one of the nation's largest commercial real estate firms, she has a depth of experience in industry trends, strategic target audience acquisition, and the utilization of innovative marketing strategies.  Prior to that, she worked for Denver’s largest independently-owned advertising agency as well as in the Colorado State University Media Relations department.  Kate is a graduate of Colorado State University with a bachelor’s degree in Speech Communication and a minor in History. She also has her master’s degree in Advertising Management from the University of Denver.  She is responsible for the company’s overall marketing and oversees branding, property collateral, advertising, website development, internal and external presentations, and media relations.

Mat began his career in the industry in 1999 and since then, has been involved in projects both nationally and internationally.  His 15 years of experience include a diverse portfolio of projects from education facilities, to medical work, to financial institutions, to high-end lofts. Mat has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. Mat is responsible for in-field management and subcontractor supervision, as well as preconstruction estimating, and scheduling.  His responsibilities include the leadership and direction of all construction activities consistent with the objective of providing the highest level of construction quality.

Sean began his career in the industry in 2000 and since then, has been responsible for the oversight of projects across the nation.  He is well versed in delivering a project from preconstruction through closeout and successfully managed project teams on a wide variety of projects. He has been a part of the construction for some of the country’s largest retail companies and has a strong understanding of overall constructability.  Sean has a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is responsible for serving as a liaison between the project manager and the technical disciplines involved in a project.  Through this, he ensures that all parties are aware of the overall requirements and expectations, identifies potential issues and troubleshoot them accordingly, and manages the staff onsite.

Eric is a LEED AP BD+C professional who has worked in the construction industry for over 10 years. His experience has led to his proficiency and understanding of processes and procedures. His ability to actively contribute to a project from start to close have led to elevated owner satisfaction and a high standard for the customer service he will deliver. Ben began his career in construction in 2004. Since then, he has been exposed to many facets of the industry. Joe is highly-experienced with over 11 years of industry understanding and has worked on a number of high-profile projects throughout Northern Colorado.  His extensive background in custom millwork and casework gives him an intricate proficiency in the details that make each project unique.  Joe’s vast relationships lend to his ability to effectively interact with owners and subcontractors.  His range of industry certification includes AWI, Lift Operator, Post Tension Slab Level 1, and Residential Framing Inspection.  He is responsible for managing owner interaction and meetings, architectural review, troubleshooting field issues, managing subcontractors, project scheduling, ordering materials, generating punch lists, leading organizational meetings and safety training, and onsite problem solving.

Throughout his almost 10 years of experience in construction, he has gained a strong portfolio of completed projects - five of which are LEED Gold Certified. He has focused his construction career along the Front Range and in numerous mountain towns.  He has successfully managed numerous design-build projects including: hospitals, retail, office, restaurant, and mixed-use. He has a strong ability to budget, organize, schedule, and coordinate buyout, which equates to overall cost savings and ultimately, client satisfaction.  Dave has a bachelor’s degree in Industrial Construction Management from Colorado State University. Zach is a recent graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management and a Business Administration minor. Derek is a LEED AP professional who has been in construction for the past seven years and through that time, has been exposed to all aspects of the industry. His resume includes work on a variety of multi-million dollar projects including automotive dealerships, institutional facilities, corporate tenant finishes, medical buildings, and high-end condominiums. He is a graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management. He is responsible for overseeing all aspects of construction to ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with engineering design. He also ensures that construction plans are in agreement with customer expectations and identifies points at which contractual obligations will have been met.

Lauren is a LEED AP BD + C professional with construction experience nationwide. Her major projects include a $53 million high-end performing arts center in Beverly Hills, a $55 million ground-up school project, and an 86,000 SF warehouse expansion. She holds a bachelor's degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. While there, she was active in the Design-Build Institute of America and Women in Construction. Lauren will assist with in-field management and subcontractor supervision, as well as preconstruction estimating, and scheduling.

Dave serves as the Development Manager for Brinkman Partners. Since 1998, he has been directly involved with various aspects of real estate, construction, and development.   Through that time, he has served as a project manager, development manager, and owners’ representative and gained a thorough understanding of the complexities involved in both in-house and third party developments.  He received a bachelor’s degree from Western State College in Business Administration with minor in Construction Management and Accounting. He also holds a master’s degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.  Dave is the direct point of contact for clients throughout the entire development process.  He is tasked with accurately assessing client needs and developing a team and framework that will effectively guide those needs through to completion.  He is directly responsible for program development, financial modeling, due diligence review, feasibility analysis, design development, entitlement, and owner representation.

Tim is Brinkman Partners Property Manager. He has been with the company since its inception in 2007 and has previous experience in both residential and commercial construction.  He is an attendee of the University of Northern Colorado. Tim is responsible for onsite management of all residential properties overseen by Brinkman Asset Management.  He provides 24/7 property management, day-to-day execution of repairs, maintenance, and improvements, coordination of service agreements, oversight of property and tenant concerns and emergencies, and management of onsite vendors and subcontractors.

Brandon has over 15 years of industry experience. His diversity of roles and responsibilities during this time give him an all-encompassing skill set. His strong carpentry background allows him to provide a specific expert insight in this area to any project. His portfolio includes a range of projects from military basses and centers to schools and educational service facilities. Brandon has a Construction Management Certificate from Colorado State University. Pete is Brinkman Partner’s Vice President of Business Development.  He has over 21 years of business management experience and 10 years in specific commercial real estate marketing and development experience across multiple property types including office, industrial, retail, hospitality and residential.. His prior work includes serving as a principal and Senior Vice President of Development for Saxa Inc. in Scottsdale, Arizona. There, he was instrumental in their development of more than 5 million square feet of office condo, retail, and mixed-use projects across the country.  Pete earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Richmond.  He is responsible for managing continued company growth and profitability through project pursuit, ongoing customer relationship management, and providing solutions for commercial projects of varying sizes and scope in the Colorado market.

Laura serves as Brinkman’s Assistant Controller/HR Manager. Her 20+ years in accounting, 19 years in the construction and real estate industry, give her a strong understanding in financial oversight and an acute attention to detail. She has developed strong working industry relationships that help facilitate efficient and accurate accounting and planning. Laura is LEED BD+C accredited and has a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting with an emphasis in HR Management from Regis University. She is responsible for overseeing accounting procedures and internal controls, database management, assisting in preparation of financial statements, and internal audits. She also is in charge of A/R and supervises A/P personnel and transactions. As HR Manager, Laura directs and maintains employee payroll and benefits.

Todd serves as Brinkman Construction’s Preconstruction Manager. Ron is a highly experienced team member with over 30 years of industry experience. He has a proven track record in providing technical skills, strong communication, and innovative solutions to the projects he has been a part of. His range of experience includes retail super centers, mountain retreats, training facilities, and institutional buildings. With his 12 years of construction experience, Mike has extensive industry knowledge and a diverse portfolio. He has worked on various multi-million dollar projects including schools, sports parks and recreation centers, senior housing facilities, retail centers, and multi-family developments. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management with a Business minor from the University of Nebraska. He is responsible for field management and subcontractor supervision, as well as preconstruction estimating and scheduling.  His responsibilities include the leadership and direction of all construction activities consistent with the objective of providing the highest level of construction quality.

Jason is a LEED Accredited Professional who has been in construction for the past seven years and through that time, has been exposed to all aspects of the industry. His resume includes work on a variety of projects including medical buildings, institutional facilities, corporate tenant finishes, and multi-million dollar new-build projects. Jason holds a bachelor’s degree in Construction Management from Colorado State University. He is responsible for managing preconstruction planning, development, and construction activities including owner/client interface, design development, estimating, budget preparation, scheduling, value engineering, quality control, safety management, bidding, proposal preparation, subcontractor selection and management, overall project administration, and profit and loss control.

Gail began her career in construction accounting over 15 years ago. Through this time, she has gained a depth of experience in sales/use tax, accounts receivable/payable, fleet management tracking, job costing, and managing pre-qualification systems. She has completed extensive accounting course work through both Front Range Community College and South Dakota State University. Gail is responsible for monthly billings and providing accounts payable support for Brinkman Construction and Brinkman Real Estate Management.

Carrie supports all project functions from commencement to closeout.  She comes from deep construction roots being the fourth generation in her family to work in the industry.  Her background includes recent work in insurance for Flood & Peterson and loss prevention for the University of Wyoming.  With her Property and Causality insurance license and past experience, she is a key asset to the Brinkman team.  Carrie is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado.  She is responsible for the overall operational success of construction internal processes, systems and procedures for Brinkman Construction. She is an integral construction team member, assisting at every level of the project from preconstruction to closeout.

Evan began his construction career as an electrical apprentice over 10 years ago. His experience in the industry since then has included involvement in some of the company’s most high-profile projects. Through these, he has gained the reputation of providing unparalleled service to clients while developing lasting partnerships with architects, engineers, local officials, and vendors. Evan attained his Journeyman certification and attended Colorado State University.
