Brinkman Construction Builds Apartment Project Near CSU

Two generations of a Fort Collins family have completed a new apartment project bordering the Colorado State University campus. Wayne Schrader and his daughter Jennifer Schrader have opened College 830 at 830 S. College Ave.

The apartments are on the former site of their family’s Schrader Country Store and serve as the pair’s entry into development.

The project became a collaboration with the other local companies that made up the team: owner’s representation by Flagstone Partners, construction by Brinkman Construction, design by alm2s and leasing by Brinkman.

The four-story, 31,000-square foot building includes 34 apartments consisting of studios, one- and two-bedroom apartments, and covered resident parking. Two ground-floor retail units will be occupied by Dazbog Coffee and a brewpub.

The building is located across from Colorado State University’s Glenn Morris Field House and within walking distance of Old Town and the MAX transit system. Most units have expansive windows, modern designer finishes, full-size washers and dryers, spacious closets and quartz countertops.
